400 Great Pond Road Steering Committee
Minutes of October 26, 2023
Attendees: Richard Vaillancourt, Willie Vicens, Gerry Brecher, John Simons, Steve Foster, Peter
Boynton, Ron Rudis, Norma Lochmann
Absent: Jean Enright, John Weir, Jim Stanford
Call to Order: 6:30 PM at Fire Department Training Room (795 Chickering Road)
Public Comment: None
New Business:
Discussion of upcoming CPC public meeting.
Jeffry Burchard, Architect, Principal Machado Silvetti along with Medic Ozgen from Machado
Silvetti, and Amanda (intern with Machado Silvetti) presented comparisons of the four options
and initial rough order-of-magnitude cost estimates for the options.
There was substantial discussion of the analysis of the four options and rough initial cost
estimates.
Machado Silvetti will email an updated version of their initial analysis for review by committee
members by the end of next week.
Next Meetings: The next meeting of the 400 GPR committee will be scheduled for November 20
at the Fire Department Training Room.
The out briefing for the Select Board and 400 GPR Committee members will be scheduled for
December 11th (tentative).
Meeting Minutes: P Boynton made a motion to approve the previous meeting
minutes. Seconded by W Vicens. The vote was 8-0 in favor.
Adjournment: At 7:50 PM Peter Boynton made a motion to adjourn. The motion was seconded
by Ron Rudis. The vote was 8-0 in favor.
