The work involves: installation of a veranda with a patio underneath within the 100' Buffer Zone to bordering vegetated wetlands. A corner of die new patio and veranda will be 94.6 feet from the wetland at their closest point and only disturb 35 sq. ft. of the 100'BZ,all within the pre--existing lawn. The proposed veranda will have a roof as well as concrete footings for support. An addition to the existing pool house is also proposed, but all of this work will be outside of Conservation Department jurisdiction. The applicant stated that all work will be accomplished by hand and will not be utilizing any heavy nhaehinery. All work shall conform to the following: RECORD DOCUMENTS: Small Project Filing Including: Application Checklist with supporting narrative and attachments prepared by Williams & Sparages, received 11-06- 23 "Plan of Land 183 Appleton Street Proposed Pool House Expansion" -prepared by Williams & Sparages, signed and Stamped by Richard Williams, PE, scale 1"=20', dated 10-31-23 The following conditions are hereby mandated CONDITIONS: 1. A pre-construction site inspection with Conservation Department and homeowner shall be held to inspect installed erosion controls consisting of 8" barb nhulch filled sock staked and in the location as depicted on the approvcd plan, review the scope of work, these conditions and to ensure that stockpile of all ihhaterials are outside the buffer zone or on upland side of the erosion controls. 183 Appleton Street--Small Project.Permit Approval.Category L Page 1 of 2 2. A post-construction inspection with the Conservation.Department shall be held to verify compliance and approve erosion controls removal. 3. This permit shall expire one year from the date of issuance. **The applicant, homcowner and their contractors are advised that NO other work on the property is allowed under this pern-iit.
