The required revisions will be incorporated into the revised plan set to be provided in advance of approval. For clarity, the comments are in a bold font type, while our responses are directly below in an italicized font type. i Department of Public Works Comment: Sewer lines shall be PVC and not HDPE, as shown on the plan, and shall be installed per DPW Specifications. The plans will be revised to show the correct sewer pipe type of PVC, per DPW specifications. Comment: Old water and sewer lines are to be abandoned at the Town's main lines. This will require a MassDOT Street Opening Permit and Town Street Opening Permit. The plans will be revised to note that water and sewer pipes are to be abandoned at the Town's main lines where they will not be reused by this project. The proper permits will be obtained prior to construction. Comment: New water line connections shall be live taps, not cut-in connections. The plans will be revised to note the proper live tap connection type. Comment: A sewer mitigation fee will apply based on the design flow for each new building. A draft sewer mitigation fee calculation has been provided for review. North Andover Fire De artment Comment: Applicant needs to perform a swept path analysis wl NAFD L1 template. I provided the template to.fared Walsh by email on 9121/20. Have yet to receive SPA. Please find two(2) truck turning exhibits attached for review and comment. We have performed the swept path analysis using the aforementioned NAFD L.1 template provided on 9121120. www,BohlorEngineering.com BOHLERI Comment: Utility Plan [C601] shows fire service connections to both proposed buildings to be on sides opposite where existing hydrants are located.Will additional hydrants be installed In locations nearer to proposed fire service connections? If not, FD requests fire service connections be moved to locations that provide FD with access to supplement sprinkler systems wt greater ease and efficiency. The project team will review fire service connection locations as the design progresses and follow up to confirm final locations relative to existing hydrants or proposed hydrants, if required.
