To Whom It May Concern,
The applicant is Nova Flagship LLC, 94 Flagship Drive, North Andover, MA 01845
The property 94 Flagship Drive was purchased by Nova Flagship LLC in September 2013.The building is
currently unoccupied.The building has been purchased with the intent to renovate for the purpose of
establishing expanded and upgraded manufacturing operations of Central Metal Finishing Inc. currently
house at 80 Flagship Drive, North Andover, MA and a second location in NH. The ownership is the same
for Central Metal Finishing Inc., Galaxy LLC (80 Flagship Drive, North Andover, MA 01845) and Nova
Flagship LLC.
Central Metal Finishing Inc. was formed in 1977. In 1990 it located operations at 80 Flagship Drive. In
2006 it expanded operation with a NH location. The operating space based on these locations is
31500sf.
The plan is to close the NH location and move operations to the 94 Flagship Drive location. In addition,
to expand, move and upgrade some operation currently located at the 80 Flagship Drive location.The
operating space for the two Flagship Drive locations is 43500sf. This plan provides for consolidation of
operations to improve efficiencies and provide for continued growth of the company.
Central Metal Finishing Inc. is a metal finishing business servicing the aerospace and related Industries
with various coating to enhance product performance. Central Metal Finishing Inc. is an approved
supplier to Raytheon,Textron Defense Systems, GEAE, Boeing, PWA and many prime manufacturers in
the defense and aircraft industry both military and commercial.
Planning has been conducted with consultation from building contracting company(Dutton &Garfield),
and various engineering firms specializing, and as required and applicable licensed and certified in
electrical, plumbing, HVAC, environmental, health and safety compliances.
The 94 Flagship Drive building was previously used as a chemical lawn service business and basically in
its current state has office space,warehouse space with minimal HVAC and large garage type entry
doors at either end of the building. The 94 Flagship Drive location will require facility renovations for
delivery and pick up.Therefore installation of dock system to accommodate small to large vehicles Is
planned for the front of the building. The building requires renovation for closing off 2-3 of the large
garage type entry doors as well various building upgrades doors, windows and other.The interior of the
building will be fit out with containment, flooring, boilers, compressors, HVAC,tank ventilation systems
and air scrubbers, plumbing, electrical upgrades, lighting,general cosmetic clean up. Equipment
installation will be various tanks, rectifiers, tumbling units,work benches, general office equipment,
computers, and general maintenance drill press, lathe,other.
Accompanying this letter is a basic layout of the plan for 94 Flagship Drive.
As a result of this project Central Metal Finishing Inc, should in the future create economic benefit with
increased job opportunities and other.
