Dear Mr. Nemchenok:
The proposed wastewater system design plan for the above site dated 2/2/24 has been reviewed. Unfortunately, the
plan cannot be approved until the following items are corrected. The specific section in Title 5: 310 CMR 15.000, or
North Andover regulation that is not met by this design follows each item where applicable.
1. Provide a north arrow on the site plan 15.220
2. Provide a note regarding the methodology to properly abandon the existing system 15.354 and NA 3.2
3. Soil testing date indicates 2023 when the work was completed in 2024
4. The design plan contains conflicting information regarding the pump tank as some areas indicate a new one is to
be used and other areas indicate the existing one is to be re-used. Clarify this discrepancy
5. Provide a construction detail for the proposed inspection port in the soil absorption system
Additionally, you may wish to adjust some of the labels which are located on top of other aspects of the site plan and
therefore might be hard for the site contractor to read.

forward to working with you to obtain a wastewater treatment and dispersal system which will be in compliance with all
regulations and assure protection of public health and the environment of North Andover.

All looks good. No variances or LUNs requested with this septic system upgrade. Draft letter attached for your use,just
need to change the date for whenever it goes out.
