However, in preliminary discussions with the engineers , I have learned that a water main is planned . Due to the ele- vation of this property in relation to our reservoirs, the water supply would be less than adequate without individual booster pumps in each home, and fire protection would be Jeopardized in the summer when the reservoirs are lowered due to heavy use. The proposed sewage pumping station was discussed, and a conceptual agreement was reached, The proposed water supply system was also discussed, and the owners have agreed to construct the system in accordance with the regulations of the Board of Public Works . The proposed location for the sewage pumping station is adequate . 2. The possibility of obtaining an easement through property leased to Arnold Salisbury for future tie in to gravity sewer should be explored, and if passible, obtained for the town. 3. The sewage force main should be on the same aide of the street as the water main, and should be j shown on the profile . 4 - Procedure for relocation of water main must be approved by this office before work is begun. 5. Your earliest attention to this would be greatly appre- ciated since I would like to take up again with the Planning Board the matter of the release of the remaining lots of land and a release of the bond.
