Re: Hillside Acres Gentlemen: The following are my observations and recommendations for this Sub-division: Surface water is running on to Chestnut Street from Marion Drive, which is not permissible; the pavement has been extended on to Chestnut Street without permission; several catch basins are not taking water because they are not adjusted properly; several areas are holding water, possibly because the grade of the road is not correct; the entire road surface is rough and in some areas cracked; in some areas there seems to be very little crown in the road. The drainage system will have to be inspected and cleaned where necessary. If the developer could arrange to have a man available to open the catch basin grates I could make this inspection at an appointed time. Due to the above items I recommend that all security be retained and that certified grades be furnished the Planning Board and the Highway Department by a Registered Civil Eng- ineer.
