Gentlemen:
I shish t m lanning Board that I have recently purchased the subdivision
known a Gilman Lane,. located off Farnum Street, North Andover, and that I.
intend begin d opment of this area in the Spring.
This subdivision isca"rised of five lots, being numbered Lot 23, 24 , 25, 26 and
27; however, it is my intention to preserve Lot 21 as conservation land and I
would like to discuss with the various 'town Boards the possibility of deeding
this lot to the Town.
My engineer, Andover Consultants , Inc. , is in the process of preparing all the
plans necessary for filing with the various Town agencies, i.e, Board of Health
and Conservation Commission. In the meantime, I will be present at your
meeting; of February 2nd to afford the Planning Board the opportunity to make
any comments or ask any questions they deem pertinent.

An I understand thn circumstances concerning Gilman
Lane back in 1972 a sub-Mvision plan was submitted for
approval by the Planning Board. A bearing was held and
approval was granted S"bject to the submission of a
covannnt. The statute requiros that prior to Lho endorse-
ment of I.1ac plon for recording the Planning Board should
be sntisfied that a covenant has been filed, which in this
cnse was not done. The filing of the covenant at this
point in timn would more than jjInly correct tbot omission.
