Nitzsche Planning Board 120 Main St. North Andover, Ma. 01845 Re: Cranberry Lane Dear Erich: I have reviewed plans and make the following comments. I have no problem in general with the subdivision as proposed. I am concerned with the drainage and as I pointed out when this was discussed, at the public hearing, I would expect that any added drainage deemed necessary during construction, would be incorporated into the existing drainage plans. Off site drainage would require a Street Opeftimg Permit,and banding, as well as, written permission from the Highway Dept. and would be done under the exclusive control of the Highway Dept. Drainage from the subdivision coming into Osgood St. would be brought to the opposite side than as shown (Easterly side of Osgood St. ) and then run northly to the intersection of Mass. Ave. and Osgood St. . This would eliminate any possibility of damageing the root structure of the two large trees that are situated in front of the Stearns residence. This would all be defined in the Street Opefaing Permit and associated specifications. Very truly yours, William A. Stonebounds 4. Street signs This subdivision has progressed well and shrubs and grass areas have been established. This should minimize any erosion that could take place during the minter months. Restoration in all areas has been completed and approved by this Department. In fact, in my opionion, the whole ,job was done well and I got full co-operation and satisfaction from the developer. All loamed areas have been seeded. Shrubs , have been planted as required and retention pond and rip--rap has been installed. I would recommend that any monies being held for these items could be released at this time. The $25,000 that I recommended for completion of subdivision road in general is sufficient to cover any items that could arise on siltation or any other needed items. Yours truly, 1 William A.
