Fence Installation
Conservation Conditions of Approval, NACC #334
Pursuant to section 4.4.2 of the North Andover Wetlands Protection Regulations,
the homeowner Jimmy Owen,filed for a Small Project Permit application for work involving
fence installation to enclose the backyard and part of the side yard. The fence will be outside or
just at the 25' NDZ and consist of wood posts and aluminum rails in between. Side yard
sections of the fence will consist of a stockade style to screen trash barrels and large propane
tank. A couple overhanging branches of a White Pine tree will be trimmed to accommodate the
fence but no other vegetation disturbance is proposed or necessary (or permitted under this
permit).
During the October 9, 2024 public meeting, the North Andover Conservation Commission (NACC)
found this project to qualify as a Small Project Permit and voted unanimously to approve this

habitat... subject to compliance with the conditions listed below. The project is approved only
as it relates to the Conservation Commission and any and all other approvals should be obtained by
the applicant/homeowner.
All work shall conform to the following:

The following conditions are hereby mandated:
CONDITIONS:
1. Post-construction inspection shall be scheduled with the ConsellTation Department to verify
compliance with the approval.
2. This permit shall expire one year from the date of issuance.
**The applicant,homeowner and their contractors are advised that NO other work on the
property is allowed under this permit. The NACC has jurisdiction over all of the wetlands and
associated 100-Foot buffer zones and 200 Riverfront Area to the Shawsheen River on site and anv

work that involves ground disturbance or changing the current conditions in these areas will require
permitting with the NACC. This includes but are not limited to, house additions, pools, patios,
decks, sheds, fences,garden beds,landscaping and bridge installation, tree or
vegetation cutting/pruning. These activities shall be held to the current standards under the Bylaw
and WPA.**
