Present: Ron Rudis(chair),Jay Dowd,Jim Wefer, Stan Limpert, Kathy Szyska,Anne Ericson
1. Meeting called to order at 5:01 pm.
2. There were no public comments or correspondence
3. The Commission discussed the tree removal project at the OBG, and the need to file a Request for
Determination of Applicability(RDA) for the project. The chair will draft a letter to the town
expressing the Commission's recommendation that the trees be removed.
4. Peter Benton from Heritage Strategies met with the Commission to discuss the status Historic
Preservation Master Plan and to answer questions from the Commission. Peter will meet again with
the Commission at their December 4 meeting.
5. The Chair shared with the Commission the current status of repair work being done on the Primus
Stevens headstone.
6. The Commission discussed a recent news article regarding the deterioration of the Ingersoll Ordinary
property in Danvers and its similarity to the property at 169 Chestnut Street.
7. Limpert made a motion, seconded by Wefer to approve the October 2, 2024 meeting minutes.
Approved 6-0.
