C (1.), The North Andover Middle School Extension Project is a 2 -story, 26,000 sf classroom addition connected to the existing Southeast classroom wing adjacent to the existing school cafeteria, Paved drives and concrete sidewalks will wrap around the addition and blend Into the existing drives and sidewalks of the existing facility. There will be some planting and trees around-the new addition along with a paved play space adjacent to the cafeteria, } i' Miscellaneous renovations throughout the existing Middle School are Is part of the. 0'a'l construction project. Community needs, This project is not necessary for expanded community needs, but instead, to meet current community needs. The middle school is currently overcrowded. Spaces such as closets and storage areas have been converted to educational spaces to provide students support spaces.This project will allow us to add spaces more conducive to meeting these student needs. In further support of this request, I am also submitting the attached project documentation relative to this project's zero to minimal Impact on the site and surrounding area, i request that this matter be scheduled for the next regular meeting of the Planning Board, although as noted in §195-8.11 C (1)(2);the determination that a site plan review application is not required does not trigger a public hearing.
