Based on the updated plans submitted, all of my comments from my original email dated October 20, 2020 have been adequately addressed. In addition I reviewed the drainage memo and proposed upgrades to the drainage system and these also appear to adequately address the proposed increase in impervious area, therefore I have no further comments. We offer the following response to your comments: i 1. As we indicated the need to be able to get both the propane refill truck but more importantly a sewer pump truck and sometimes 2 pump trucks both in the area behind and along the western side of the pump station Is critical to its operation. At times there are 2 pump trucks located behind and on the side of the station that are there for a minimum of half a day for regular maintenance and could be longer(hours) if it is an emergency. It is for this reason we cannot support the 3 proposed parking spaces in the back of the pump station. 2. With regards to the 2 proposed parallel spots located on the western side of the pump station and the proposed aisle width,when we have 2 sewer pump trucks on site they use the aisle on this side of the building and if it is reduced to 12' this is insufficient for the truck and the workers to be able to work around the truck and fence as necessary, Therefore we propose maintaining the aisle width of 15 feet and reduce the grass Island width from 6 to 3 feet This will still allow for a 3 foot grass area between the 2 parking areas,the addition of the 2 new parallel parking spots, and still maintain a 15 foot aisle width. We do have some concerns and offer the following comments which please share with the Applicant: 1. The proposed 3 parking spaces located to the northerly portion need to be removed as this space is necessary for when we need to pump out the pump station or have the propane tanks refilled, 2. The proposed concrete step located on the easterly side of the wood shed is proposed to be saw cut to Increase the travel width. The remaining concrete step needs to meet the requirements for the proper width of a step for access Into the wood shed. This should be confirmed. 3. The travel lane on the westerly side of the building Is currently 15 feet. This travel width needs to be maintained for access of both the propane fill up truck and the sewer pumper truck, If the existing width plus the proposed two parallel parking spots can be maintained we do not have an issue with these 2 proposed parallel spots.
