4. Nomination and Vote for Committee Member Positions
• Renee Procopio-Melino nominate Liz Costerisan as Co-Chair, Judy Nigrelli seconded;
unanimously agreed
• Renee Procopio-Melino nominate Ashley Vaillancourf as Co-chair, Judy Nigrelli seconded;
unanimously agreed
• Treasurer: No nomination at this time
5. Sheep Shearing Festival— Planning Discussion
• Liz contacted Heart Stone Farm (Tim Molinero)and confirmed date of Sunday, May 18t"
for festival
• Price has increased ($1200 last year); waiting for quote
• Positive feedback from farmer on signs re: community dogs staying away from
the fence. Recommend to have these signs again this year
• Craft/Artisan Vendors
• Fees:
o Non-profits free
o Committee recommend increase artisan fee from $55/$65 (depending on
location to flat fee of$70 to help cover increased cost (e.g., sheep farmer,
port-a-potty, etc)

c Vendor space: 10x10 and will be required to bring their own tent
• Entertainment Brainstorming
• Band:
c North Andover School of Music (Ed Antonelli)
- Inquire about potential non-profit rate
c Other bands: Can look into bands previously used for summer Sunday
concert series
• Other ideas:
c Karate demo?
o Inflatable obstacle course?
o Pony rides
o Marbleridge Winery or Oak and Iron Brewery?
• Transportation
• Shuttles from both Franklin and NAMHS to be coordinated
• Volunteers
• Potentially Sarah Brush can help with a communication to the community for call
for volunteers for day-of the event
• Leverage Youth Center volunteers also
6. Other Discussion Item(s)
• Budget
• 2025 Budget will cover fireworks and tree lighting (only quotes received for tree
lighting for budgeting purposes; no contracts have been signed)
c Firework dates have been set for next 3 years
• Bank account has —$17k from past years' fundraising; not part of town provided
budget
• Storage unit sunsetting
• Festival Committee will be given storage space in the old Senior Center
• Is there a contract with this storage unit?
• Will need to do an inventory as a group—targeted for spring

7. Setting of Next Meeting Date
Next meeting will be Tuesday, Feb 11, 2025 at 6PM at the North Andover Senior Center.

• Renee Procopio-Melino motion to adjourn, Liz Costerisan seconded - unanimously in
favor. Meeting adjourned.
