TWENTY (20) DAY APPEAL LETTER
Date: December 2, 2024
As you know, the Zoning Board issued a decision for a SPECIAL PERMIT and/or VARIANCE.
Your twenty (20) day appeal period will have passed at midnight on December 22, 2024.
1. Once the appeal period has passed, please pick up the attested-true copy of the Zoning
Decision(s) at the Office located at 120 Main Street, North
Andover, MA 01845.
2. Please bring the Town Clerkattested-true copy of the Decision(s) to the Northern
Essex Registry of Deeds, 1 Union Street, Suite #402, Lawrence, MA 01840 (Main
Number: 978-557-1900), as the Decision must be recorded at the Registry of Deeds as
soon as possible.
3. Once items #1 and #2 above are complete, please bring the following to the Zoning
Department, 120 Main Street, North Andover MA 01845:
a. A copy of the recorded attested-true Decision(s); and
b. The Registry of Deeds receipt.
4. Failure to file/record the Attested-True Decision(s) with the Registry of Deeds will result
in your inability to exercise your special permit and/or variance and your inability to
obtain a permit with the Building Department.
Building Inspectors Office Hours are typically from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.
