To Whom it May Concern
When a certified letter is mailed carrier attempts to deliver if no one is home a notice is left at that point the recipient has 5
days to pick up if they don't pick it up within 5 days a second notice is left notifying the recipient the letter will be returned
in 10 days if not picked up to summarize the letter was mailed on sept 3 first attempt was sept 6th second notice sept 11th
Return date is sept 21 st meeting is on sept 17th there for I feel the notification was not sent timely and how do we know
many people will not be there due to that issue . If done timely the all the return receipt with my signature or the letter
stating it was unclaimed .
So my question is was the notification sent in timely manner and can the meeting be held on the 17th in regards to this
matter?

Good morning,Alexandria!
I need your help, please. Paul is on vacation. I received the below email from Melissa Marrama, an abutter to 335 Salem
Street. I sent her a copy of the USPS Return Receipt indicating proof of timely mailing on September 3rd (publication in
Eagle Tribune was September 2nd).

I was going to email Ms. Marrama the attached copy of Chapter 40A, Section 11, indicating the three types of required
notice "...period of not less than fourteen days before the day of such hearing."
I wanted to run it by you first!
Please advise.
Thank you!

Good morning, Melissa,
I spoke with the Zoning Chairperson regarding this matter. The Legal Notice was mailed as required pursuant to G.L. c.
40A, Section 11, as well as advertised twice in the Eagle Tribune and posted in Town Hall fourteen days prior to the
September 17th public hearing date. Whether or not the mail is returned to the ZBA as undeliverable, does not constitute
a failure to provide notice.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Cenn&Ocrttersb
