3. The North Andover Planning Board has tentatively approved said plant
subject to the following modifications thereof:
Tentative approval granted at Planning Board meeting of Feb. 22, 1977 upon
motion and second of MMKXX the Subdivision Control Subcommittee subject
to the following conditions:
1 ) alternate plan „I shall be added to the preliminary submission as approved
by the Planning Board
2) recommendations From the Highway Surveyor, Board of Public Works and Pare
Chief shall. be incorporated

Dear Sir:
In reply to your letter of January 28, 1977 regarding the sub-
division plans of Ingalls Crossing (Launching Road Trust of Andover,
Andover, Mass . Jan. 14 , 1977) we have the following recommendations
ll
to make : 1
We estimate the cost of an eight inch ductile iron cement lined
water pipe seal coated inside , tar coated outside at $42,000.00
This is for 3160 feet of eight inch pipe installed 15 feet from the
North and West property lines with five feet of cover below the finish
grade of the street. Eddy breakfl.ange hydrants to North Andover
specifications are to be installed as shown except the hydrant shown
at the easterly property line of lot 10 should be placed at the
westerly property line of lot 9 and the hydrant shown at the southerly
property line of lot 31 should be located at the northwesterly property
line of lot 30. These hydrants should be installed with six inch
Mueller or equal gate valves ( open left) complying with AWWA specifi-
cations L500 52T with sliding; type cast iron gate boxes marked WATER,
eight inch Mueller or equal division gates ( open left) as shown will
be required at the intersections ®

All of the above work must pass the leakagypnO pronsuro tests
performed A accordance with section 13 of AWWA standard 600 and
shall be chlorinated In accordance with AWWA c6oi "Standard Proceduro
for DiminfectIng Water Mains" adequate public liability and property
damage Insurance as well as a street opening bond In an amount
satisfactory to the Highway Surveyor must be provided for the work
on Salem Street
