Hed.strom, Chairman Planning Board. 120 Main St. North Andover., Ma. Red; Ingalls ill ............. Dear au.. I have gone over the plan for the proposed sub- division and make the following comments & recomm- endations, I would first mention that there is an error on the hottop thickness. It should be 2" of binder and 1p it of top. I have no problem with the drainage design as ,shown on the plan except; the MAP oval pipe that; is proposed between stations 08. I' would recommend that; this pipe be a Class 4 36" R.C.P. with a minimum cc, ver dept of 3 ft. Cape Cod Berm will be required on portions of this subdivision. Gravel and hottop widths would be widened. by )i ft. in these areas, to be determined in the field. Any drainage problems encountered in the field and during construction would be en.corporated into the drainage system and shown on the as built plan. Catch basin units to be 8" precast concrete units with cone tops, 4 :flange 6" checker board type frames and grates to be used. All drain .ripe to be reinforced concrete. Sub drains required when and where necessary, to be determined in the: field, by the Highway Surveyor. Drainage easements to be deeded to the ` 'own and recorded by the developer. r, 5 , Ingalls TIT P. 2. Siltation and erosion plan to be submitted along with a maintenance plan. Driveway entry permits to be obtained before any driveways are cut out. Inspection permit to be used as specified. No drainage, hottop or utility work will be performed between the first of December and the first day of March, unless such work would be of an emergency nature and this would require a special permit issued by the Highway Dept. I will be at your meeting Monday evening to answer any additional questions that might arise® Very truly yours, William A. Cyr Highway Surveyor WAC/m.
