Present: Ron Rudis (chair),Jim Wefers,Stan Limpert,Jay Dowd,Anne Ericson
1. Meeting called to order at 5:02 pm.
2. There were no public comments or correspondence.
3. The town has proposed a plan to lower the chimney at the back side of the Stevens Estate Stables to
prevent damage to the roof. The top half of the chimney is leaning,the chimney is not in use.
Limpert made a motion, seconded by Dowd to approve the plan. Approved 5-0.
4. Election of Officers- Limpert made a motion, seconded by Dowd to elect Ron Rudis as Chair.
Approved 5-0.
5. Election of Officers- Limpert made a motion, seconded by Wefers to elect Jay Dowd as Vice-Chair.
Approved 5-0.
6. Limpert made a motion, seconded by Rudis to nominate Jay Dowd as Historical Commission
representative to the Old Center Historic District Commission. Approved 5-0.
7. Historical Preservation Plan - Limpert made a motion, seconded by Rudis to request a set of changes
to the list of recommendations in the draft plan. Approved 5-0.
8. Limpert made a motion, seconded by Wefers to approve the January 2, 2025 meeting minutes.
Approved 5-0.
