HomeMy WebLinkAbout191 Granville Lane DOA Negative Determination - Permits - 191 GRANVILLE LANE 5/19/2025 CONSERVATION DEPARTMENT Community Development Division NEGATIVE #3 DETERMINATION OF APPLICABILITY FINDINGS & SPECIAL CONDITIONS 191 Granville Lane, North Andover At the May 19, 2025 public hearing, the North Andover Conservation Commission (NACC) voted to issue a Negative #3 Determination of Applicability approving the project at 191 Granville Lane, based on its findings below and subject to compliance with the conditions listed below. The work includes: The project involves replacement of the leach field and Distribution Box - pump tanks to remain in place. Excavation to remove top -2,5-3 feet of leach field and replace with Title 5 washed stone, 4" PVC perforated pipe and associated D-Box. All work is in the front of the house and the wetland is behind the house, -72 feet at its closest point- 12" mulch sock is proposed to close gap between house and side yard. Excavation will be 3 feet above estimated seasonal high water table, therefore dewatering will not be anticipated. No stockpiling of exported or imported materials are called for-removal or placement to occur daily. An on-site pre-construction meeting shall be scheduled with a Conservation Department staff, the applicant and the contractor to confirm that the required. erosion controls have been properly installed, and that ensure the approved plan and conditions are understood. 3. Stockpiling of soils (excavated to be removed or imported to install) shall not occur on site - daily removal from site or installation shall occur. 4, Schedule a post-construction inspection with Conservation Department staff when the work is complete to verify compliance with the approved plan and approve removal of erosion controls upon total stabilization of disturbed soils. **The applicant, and their contractors are advised that NO other work on the property that is within the 100-foot buffer zone is allowed under this permit. The NACC has jurisdiction over all of the wetlands and associated 100-Foot buffer zones on site and any workthat involves round disturbance or changing the current conditions in these areas will require permitting with the NACC. This includes, but are not limited to, house additions, pools, patios, decks, sheds, fences, garden beds, landscaping and bridge installation, tree or vegetation cutting/pruning. Appeals The applicant, owner, any person aggrieved by this Determination, any owner of land abutting the land upon which the proposed work is to be done, or any ten residents of the city or town in which such land is located, are hereby notified of their right to request the appropriate Department of Environmental Protection Regional Office (see let e://w�!_Mass.gov/servsc°e-detallss//rnassdep-fie iorial-offices-bra ggn,L uu i y)to issue a Superseding Determination of Applicability.
