Whereas,said Covenant called for development,drain and roadway work to be performed on the above
referenced Red Gate Subdivision;and
Whereas said work called for in said Covenant has been completed to the satisfaction of the Town of North
Andover,according to the Definitive Subdivision Decision made by the Planning Board of the Town of
North Andover and filed with the town clerk on November 12,2001, or that any work remaining to be
completed has had a Subdivision Performance Bond posted with the Town for its completion on June 20,
2007;
Now therefore, in consideration of the mutual promises contained herein,the North Andover Planning

Dear Lincoln.-
Enclosed are three copies of the Interim As-Built Plan for the Red Gate Pasture
Subdivision. Also enclosed is a Form J certification.
I visited the site again today and it looks good. The front entrance area has been cleaned
up and the slopes along the roadway have been mulched with hay which ls keeping the
erosion in check. Most of the excess fill which had been piled d on lots I and 4 has been
removed.No erosion was evident leaving the site.
Dean Chop r s will be delivering a check to cover the bond fee prior to your meeting
next Tuesday. I also believe he will be at your meetingTuesday to discuss the bonding
of the subdivision. If you need her inf` rmatio r cl�.r%tication,;please don't hesitate

Re.: lot releases and slope stabilization at Redgate Subdivision
lot releases Chatham Crossing Subdivision

Redgate Subdivisions
I recommend release of lots 3 and Vin an effort to more efficiently stabilize the subdivision's
slopes. Care must be taken to establish who will do the site work on lots once released and that the two
remaining lots will be further stabilized during this site work. I also offer the following comments-,
1. The present stab I'lization plan calls for grass whereas a more deep-rooted shrub or tree in
places may hold the slope better. Grass holds topsoil only. On steep, saturated slopes,
whole sections of topsoil may slough off exposing the subsoil to erosion. Deeper-rooted
plants get down into the subsoil.
2. hay bales have not been placed around the loam pile and grass has not yet germinated
3. rip-rap driveway entrances must be minimum 6"minus stone in a trench w/design
submitted to DPW for approval.
4. silt needs to,be removed from stilling ponds behind lots I & 2 and the di-pond forebay.
5. some seeded areas have still not germinated. Irrigation is needed.
6. lot 3 needs to and seeding on back side.
Chatham Crossing Subdivision:
1 recommend no lot releases be given until drainage is properly connected to the municipal
system with the designed stormwater management in place.
Peachtree Subdivision:
1. when is the anticipated 'installation of the approved catch basin on Chestnut St. at dlea to
take place?
2. what is the status of the runoff from the site onto Chestnut St. northwest of Hughes, 490
Chestnut St.9.
