HomeMy WebLinkAbout80 Chestnut Street - NACC #350 Small Project Approval - Permits #NACC #350 - 80 CHESTNUT STREET 9/24/2025 CONSERVATION DEPARTMENT Community & Economic Development Division Yoel Rivas & Ana Ariza 80 Chestnut Street North Andover, MA 01845 September 30, 2025 80 Chestnut Street, North Andover Fence Install & Lawn Rehab Conservation Conditions of Approval, NACC #350 Pursuant to section 4.4.2 of the North Andover Wetlands Protection Regulations, on behalf of die homeowners, Steven Arsenault general contractor, filed for a Small Project Permit application under Category "H" & 'J", for work proposed at 80 Chestnut Street, North Andover. The work involves: importing clean loam to level the yard between the 50' and limit of die 100' Buffer Zone, removing some herbaceous growth at the north side of the yard area, install a fence at the 50' No Build Zone and install irrigation lines. A dump truck and small bobcat will be used to accomplish this work. All work is outside the 50' NBZ. During the September 24, 2025 meeting, the North Andover Conservation Commission (NACC) found this project to qualify as a Small Project Permit and voted unanimously to approve this project as proposed under Cale gog `H"& `L" subject to compliance with the conditions listed below. The project is approved only as it relates to the Conservation Commission and any and all other approvals should be obtained by the applicant/hoineowner. All work shall conform to the following: RECORD DOCUMENTS: Small Project Filing Including: ® Application Checklist with supporting narrative and attachments, stamped received September 16, 2025; ® Certified Plot Plan,prepared by Leo White, PLS, annotated by the applicant to depict proposed fence and lawn rehab locations. The following conditions are hereby mandated: CONDITIONS: 1. Prior to any work commencing, a 8" mulch sock shall be installed and securely staked along the entire edge of the 50' No Build Zone. 2. A pre-construction site inspection with staff, the general contractor and landscape contractor to inspect controls and review project scope. 3. Post-construction site uispecton with staff and general contractor to verify compliance and approve removal of controls. 80 Chestnut Street—Small Project Permit Approval Category"11"&"L" Page 1 of 2 **The applicant homeowner and their contractors are advised that NO other work on the property is allowed under this permit. The NACC has jurisdiction over all of the wetlands and associated 100-Foot buffer zones and 200 Riverfront Area to the Shawsheen River on site and any work that involves ground disturbance or changing the current conditions in these areas will require permitting with the NACC. This includes, but are not limited to, house additions, pools, patios, decks, sheds, fences, garden beds, landscaping and bridge installation tree or vegetation cutting/pruning These activities shall be held to the current standards under the Bylaw and WPA.** Should you have any question or comments regarding the contents of this letter, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned at 978.688.9530.
