Existing tank properly abandoned, if present
Internal plumbing all to one building sewer
Topography not appreciably altered beyond
what is needed for construction of system
Check setback distances if any on design plan
are at or near regulatory setback
Comments: 11/19/25 – First ±10’ from house contractor retained the existing cast
iron pipe. - D. Ottenheimer
SEPTIC TANK
Building sewer in continuous grade, on
compacted firm base
Cleanouts per plan or if needed due to field
change
Bottom of tank hole has 6” stone base
Tank size and loading per plan
Watertightness of tank has been observed
by visual assessment
Inlet tee installed, centered under access port
Outlet tee installed, centered under access port
Effluent filter (no gas baffle needed)
If effluent filter, riser to finished grade over filter
Riser with cover to within 6” of finish grade
installed over one access port
Manhole cover minimum 20” inch diameter
Pipe penetrations appear watertight using
rubber boots
System piping is all Schedule 40 PVC
