Minutes Attendance: Members Present: Lucius Michel {Chair}; Quentara Costa {Secretary}, Joan Thompson, Allen Naffah, Maria Rosati, Patricia Riley, David VanArsdale, Anthony Petronio, Eileen Elliot, Wendy Venti, Jennifer Abou-ezzi Absent: George Kangos, Remo Zimbaldi Others Present: Kathy Shelp, Director of Senior Center; Cahla Ahlstrom, Outreach Manager Call to order: 9:07 AM Roll call by Lucius Michel Minutes: Review of November 2025. Motion to approve by Dave. Seconded by Joan. Unanimously approved. Update from Kathy Shelp, update on Senior Center:  Quick recap of last week’s review of drafted Program Registration Procedure for members who were not at November’s meeting.  Motion to endorse the proposed program registration procedure by Dave VanArsdale. Seconded by Joan Thompson. Endorsement unanimously approved.  Luke to send along some suggestions on communicating the changes to center participants.  One of the vans given away. Capital budget request to get a new 14 passenger van with lift approved. Would be ordered in July 2026 and a 10 month delivery window. Another 14 passenger van purchased with a grant from MEVA arriving this summer.  New schedule for receptionists, with a new receptionist starting for 10-hrs a week. He will manage website, google calendar and registration process.  Discussion on creating and approving a use policy for outside groups. General Discussion on Advocacy:  MAID – Approved in other states but being considered here in MA. Bill is Senate 1486. It’s very well thought out with many safeguards and terms.
