appropriateness before the commission.
Joanna Kerr,Executive Director,North Andover Historical Society presented the Historical
Society's Revolution 250 Program. She explained that the banner being proposed is to advertise
the program and will be put up in the morning and be taken down at close. This banner would be
the same style as the one previously approved by the commission for Diane's Cafe, located in the
same building. The idea was to create symmetry with the two banners on the front of the building
while bringing awareness to the Revolution 250 program. Since the program is an ongoing
series, the proposal for the banner is until the end of December 2026, at which it will be
removed.
There was general discussion and inquiry into the banner replacing the current lawn signs for the
same Revolution 250 program outside of the building. J. Kerr mentioned that she already
removed some of the lawn signs.
