HomeMy WebLinkAbout24.11.21 - Engineer Certification Letter - - HANCOCK /y Surveyors I Eiighiecrs ( Scientists November 21, 2024 Ms. Jean Enright, Planning Director North Andover Planning Board 120 Main Street North Andover, MA 01845 RE: Horne Grown Lacrosse—Certification of substantial completion 492 Sutton Street North Andover, MA 01845 Dear Ms. Enright: On behalf of our client, Home Grown Lacrosse, LLC, Hancock Associates has reviewed the as-built conditions for the project completed at 492 Sutton Street, along Terminal Road and found the majority of the site to be within substantial compliance with the decision endorsed by the Planning Board with the exception of the completion of final landscaping and minor design alterations. All stormwater management practices have been inspected and are working properly. During the construction process a few minor items were modified from the original approved plan set. The items are as follows: 1. Final Landscaping —Landscaping is still in progress. The proposed trees to be planted surrounding the parking lot and the G' landscaping buffer along Sutton Street have not been installed. Plantings are proposed to be installed in the Spring of 2025 when weather conditions are more conducive to the survival of the plantings. Upon completion of final landscaping this office will reinspect and issue a final certification in support of performance bond release and final as-built certification. 2. Roof Drip Edge-- Instead of a gutter system as shown on the endorsed plan set, a drip edge and stone trench was installed and connected to the porous pavement reservoir system thus achieving the same design goal. 3. Rear Gravel Entrance—A gravel drive has been installed connecting the rear overhead door and Terminal Road. 4. Dumpster Pad—Dumpster pad has not been installed. 5. Curb Stops—Curb stops have been used along the norther side of the parking lot in lieu of concrete curbing. Therefore, I, Brian G.
