Introduction&Welcome • Introduce Lydia to the group • Icebreaker/Discussion 2. FY26 Term 1 Reporting Update • So far,we have spent$134,336.55 of our grant total of$532,564.71 • Most activities are in progress and/or completed. Less than ten activities are stalled or not started due to vacancy in SSC position • Accomplishments o Community outreach o Inspector workgroup o Workforce capacity&development o Maven coverage • DPH update o PHE funds will be available for inspectional software through FY27 o METRIK is stalled • Reminder to send your annual notification to the appropriate leaders in your municipality and send proof to Lydia 3. FY26 Term 2&Strategic Plan • Foundational Public Health Services Review • Sustainability and Continuity o Grant tracker, search, and review o Seeking ideas or suggestions from municipalities for specialized grants • Workforce capacity&development o Training tracker for personnel ■ Tom suggested utilizing tracking for retailer standards and paperwork/licenses for inspectors o Hiring full time inspector ■ Haverhill,Andover both also hiring for a full time inspector ■ Reading hired full time inspector ■ Lydia will begin process with HR to hire for the inspector with a goal of posting the job in January • Standardize Services and Procedures o Foodborne illness outbreak—standardize protocol &tabletop exercise for the Summer • Visibility and Community Engagement o Translation of materials—suggestion for Portuguese and/or Mandarin • Advanced Data Use and Regional Insight o Shared nursing resources 4. Nursing& Inspector Update • Nursing Updates o Vaccine clinics, blood pressure clinics across the communities o Health education ■ Impaired driving impact of medication management ■ Hands only CPR ■ Please send any requests to Lea Anne for specific infographics! ■ Newsletter and Linkedln are successful, 160 followers ■ Blog posts on website continue to be written o Data review ■ Maven disease reports and response capacity is at 90% • Discussion on Henry(Epi) leaving in April with COVID grant ending, would MEPHC take on Henry as part or full time o Lydia will break down budget line items to see what money we have with hiring a full time inspector • Inspector Updates o General ■ Supporting Reading with routine inspections and complaints follow-ups while the town inspector position is vacant ■ Currently working on inspections for Andover's indoor pool and hotel/motel permit renewals o Special Processes Training ■ Planned and executed special processes training in October o Standardized FBI Protocols ■ Continuing development of foodborne illness policies& protocols that meet FDA Standard 5 ■ Exploring opportunities to conduct a tabletop mock foodborne illness outbreak exercise S.
