Meeting Minutes
Thursday, March 12th, 2026 at 1:00 pm
In Attendance: Bonnie Dufresne, Erika Woods, Shanene Pierce,Ade Solarin, Coral Hope, Lydia Sweetser,
Amy Ewing, Lea Anne Pero,Andrew Shapiro, Bob Bracey
1.Approve Minutes from 2/9/2026
• Motion by Amy to approve, Second by Coral and Ade
• Unanimous vote yes
2. FY26 Check-In
• FPHS Results& Discussion
o Equity: need to build capacity and expertise
■ Trainings available may not be as relevant to public health work specifically,
seeking requests
o Maternal, Child, & Family Health: need to strengthen partnerships and need to build
capacity
■ Bump, Baby, and Beyond helps to increase our capacity, identify partnerships,
and address a gap in our services
o Access to& Linkage with Clinical Care: need to build capacity and expertise
■ Addressed with maternal &child health expo, identifying and strengthening our
local clinical care partners
• Inspector Goals regarding shared permitting and routine inspection standardization
o Strategic plan includes Shanene creating and adopting 2 shared permitting and routine
inspection protocols
o Suggestion for pools, mobile food carts, camps, etc. as it is timely
3. Inspector Hiring&Job Update
• Vote for Wafaa Kalai for shared regional health inspector
o Motion to approve Amy, Second by Coral
o Unanimous vote yes
• HR conversation regarding Shanene position regrading and possible raise is now with town
management
4.General Updates
• Bump, Baby, and Beyond 25+vendors confirmed, continue sending out suggestions to us for
organizations and businesses that you would think are a good fit
S. Funding Diversification Plan
• Grant tracking plan and search to find diverse funding opportunities is underway
• Specific projects or programming that comes up, specific partnerships you would like to
strengthen through a specified grant, reach out
6.Annual Report
• Send headshots to us for the advisory board
7. Nursing& Inspector Updates
• Reach out to Shanene and Lydia with suggestions and requests for shared protocols
• CPR sign-up for training that will take place every two years—reach out to Lea Anne
