WC noted in the review comment memo that their only comments are in relation to the original comment#13, which is copied below for reference. Each comment is foll'lowed by our response in bold. 13. Assuming, the Ozzy Properties Building sewer line to the existing purnpling station must remain in service during demolition of the existing building(s) and c nstruction of the proposed Distribution Facility, several apparent conflicts appear on the drawings as follow Utility Plan III-Drawing C '1 03—The existing 8to clay sewer its not shoran from the existing S H near 1 1 IVIH 6 200 feet southwest to an existing SMH faintly shown,, then another 60 feet where it connects to the existing " clay sewer. (This can be deduced from information on Drawing VL1 5)w As a result, there appear to be several conflicts as follows: 1 Comment es s Previously addressed. The proposed "sewer from SMH-16 to SMIH-1 ' is in the same location as the existing 8" clay serer from 3 ' to 900 north of SMH-16 as well as the existing S H. It also appears that the proposed 15" HD PE drain and D-1 C -4 are in the same location as both the existing and proposed sewers,and the existing SOH. Comment Response,,- Previously +ddressed., Mangan Project No. 140182701 _mEMO April 8, 2020- Page 2 of 3 0 It appears that the proposed 24" drain from D-1 Ex YI D-1 to D-1 MHWS is in conflict with the existing 8" clay sewer just south of the existing SMH. Comment Response: Previously addressed. o The proposed UFW(fire protection line) crosses the existing sewer just north of SMH--16 and is shown very close to the existing SMH. This should be checked for conflicts. Comment Response:Previously addressed. In the final proposed condition, existing sanitary service lines and equipment servicing buildings 20 and 21 will be removed. During construction the sanitary sewer service will remain in operation as it exists today for as long as possible. Before the existing sanitary conveyance system servicing existing buildings 20 and 21 are taken off line,a new sanitary conveyance system will be constructed. The discharge locations from the existing building will be disconnected from the existing sanitary service and reconnected to the new service route,limiting down time. Depending on the exact timing of certain demolition and site work it is possible that the existing sanitary main will need to be demolished in advance of the new sanitary system being able to go into operation. Should this temporary condition arise, temporary holding tanks would be used to store sanitary waste. These tanks would be Installed,operated and emptied in accordance with all with any local or state requirements and would be removed as soon as the permanent sanitary connect can be made. Utility Plan IV-Drawing CU104--The existing 8" clay sewer crosses both the proposed UFW and electric lines east of the proposed Distribution Facility and should be checked for conflicts. Comment Response: The existing sanitary service lines and equipment will be removed in the final condition. Existing sanitary service will remain active as it is in its existing condition as long as possible. !Please refer to the above options for the continuous sanitary service approach for buildings 20 and 21. • Utility Plan IV Drawing CU104 and Utility Plan V--Drawing CU105-The existing 8" clay sewer continues through the proposed Distribution facility but should remain in service in order to serve the existing Ozzy Properties Building unless other arrangements are in place. Please refer to the above options for the continuous sanitary service approach for buildings 20 and 21. • Utility Plan V-Drawing CU105--The existing 8" clay sewer crosses the proposed UFW, gas and electric lines west of the proposed Distribution Facility and should be checked for conflicts. Comment Response. The existing sanitary service Fines and equipment will be removed in the final condition. Existing sanitary service will remain active as it is in its existing condition as long as possible. Please refer to the above options for the continuous sanitary service approach for buildings 20 and 21. • Utility Plan V�-Drawing CU105-The existing wastewater treatment facility and/or pump station appears to be required to be demolished in order to construct the proposed Distribution Facility but should remain in service in order to serve the existing Ozzy Properties Building unless other arrangements are in place, Comment Response: The existing sanitary service lines and equipment will be removed in the final condition. Existing sanitary service will remain active as it is in its existing condition as longs as possible. Please refer to the above options for the continuous sanitary service approach for buildings 20 and.21. • Utility Plan V-Drawing CU 105-The existing force main from the wastewater treatment facility and/or pump station must remain in service in order to transfer flow from the existing Ozzy Properties Building to CLSD unless other arrangements are in place. Comment Response: The existing sanitary service lines and equipment will be removed in the final condition. Existing sanitary service will remain active as it is in its existing condition as long as possible.
