Good morning Luke,
Based upon a review of the traffic volumes from 10 a,rteri'als regionwide that we count every year within thie Merrimack
Valley,we found an annual growth rate of 0.83 percent over a 6_year period (between 2013 and 2019). We expect
growth to continue at this pace,therefore,we are recommending an annual background traffic growth rate of 1.0%for
all arterial road's within the Merrimack Valley region. If you have any questions or would like to see the supporting data,
please let me know.

Good Morning Jim,
Following up on the voice message I left you.
We have been asked by MassDOT to, confirm with MVPC an appiropriate traffic growth rate for the Route 125 corridor in
Haverhill'/North Andover to be used in our traffic study for the proposed redevelopment of Osgood Landing(1600,
Osgood Street) in North Andover.
used on a review of data at MassDOT count station 50!04 on 1-495 just south,of the Industrial Avenue interchange,the
AADT dropped from 129,.460 in 2015 to 127,517 in 2018, indicating a negative growth rate.
We also reviewed the traffic study prepared by VAi for the 1210 Osgood Street mixed use development, in, which a 1%
annual traffic growth rate was utilized to project the existing volumes to the build year.
To be conservative and consistent with the 1210 Osgood Street traffic study,we are also proposing to use a 1%annual
traffic growth rate to project o u r 2,0 18 existing traffic counts to,the 202 61 build year.
Can you please confirm that a 1%growth rate is reasonable to utilize for our traffic study?
