Present: Ron Rudis(chair), Jim Wefers, Stan Limpert,Jay Dowd
Absent:Anne Lafond
1. Meeting called to order at 5:07 pm.
2. No public comments.
3. FY27 CPA applications—there is one Historical Preservation application to install wayfinding signage
for the Old Center Historic District. One other CPA application is of historical interest in that it
proposes purchasing the two subdivided lots at the Colonel James Frye III property.
4. Correspondence-the Commission discussed the letter from MHC regarding the demolition of two
houses that lie within the Machine Shop Village Historic District. At this time the Commission has not
received project materials from the property owner, and has not been notified of a demolition
permit application.
5. Limpert made a motion, seconded by Dowd to approve the January 7, 2026 meeting minutes.
Approved 4-0.
6. Election of officers:
a. Wefers made a motion, seconded by Limpert to elect Ron Rudis as Chair. Approved 4-0.
b. Wefers made a motion, seconded by Limpert to elect Jay Dowd as Vice Chair. Approved 4-0.
c. Rudis made a motion, seconded by Dowd to elect Stan Limpert as Clerk. Approved 4-0.
7. Meeting adjourned at 5:35 pm
