Fence Installation
Conservation Conditions of Approval, NACC #374
Pursuant to section 4.4.2 of the North Andover Wetlands Protection Regulations, the
applicant/homeowner Earl Zimmerman, filed for a Small Project Permit application under Category "H",
for work proposed at 50 Sutton Hill Road,North Andover. The work involves: replacement and
installation of 8'wood stockade fencing at the northerly and easterly property line outside buffer zone.
Installation of a 6' chain link fence at the edge of the rear lawn which will be 78 feet from the wetland at its
closest point. Work to be accomplished by hand and excess soil from post holes will be disposed of
outside the buffer zone.
During the June 26, 2026 the North Andover Conservation Comm mission (NACC) found this project to
qualify as a Small Project Permit and voted unanimously to approve this project as proposed under i Cale o'g 0
1-1"for fence installation, subject to compliance with the conditions listed below. The project is
approved only as it relates to the Conservation Commission and any and all other approvals should be
obtained by the applicant/homeowner.
All work shall conform to the following:
RECORD DOCUMENTS: Small Project Filing Including:
® Application Checklist with supporting narrative and attachments,
stamped received May 20, 2026;
® Proposed Fence Project Aerial Map with wetland measurements.
The following conditions are hereby mandated:
1. A pre-construction site inspection shall be scheduled with the Conservation Department and the
contractor to review project scope.
2. A post construction site inspection shall be scheduled with the Conservation Department to verify
compliance.
3. This permit is valid for one (1) year from the date of issuance.
The appli , homeowner and their contractors are advised that NO other work on the
property is allowed under this permit. The NACC has-jurisdiction over all of the wetlands and
associated I 00-Foot buffer zones and 200 Riverfront Area to the Shawsheen River on site and any work
that involves ground disturbance or changing the current conditions in these areas will require
permitting with the NACC. This includes, but are not limited to, house additions, pools, patios, decks,
sheds, fences, garden beds,landscaping and bridge installation, tree or vegetation cutting/pruning. These
activities shall be held to the current standards under the Bylaw and WPA.**
