Home My WebLink About2021/08/25 - Tree Removal Letter to Conservation - - 61 JOHNSON CIRCLE August 25, 2021 Dear Conservation Commission, I am writing to request permission to remove seven ash trees from the rear of my property. These trees are infested with ash borers and are dead and nearly dead. They are quite tall and I am concerned that if they fall, they could hit my house. I have marked them all with red ribbon and measured approximate distance from my drive way and house. I am also submitting photographs. They are all within 100 feet of the non disturb zone. The trees will be removed by Carpenter-Costin Landscape using a crane. The trees will be flush cut with the stumps remaining in place. The distances are: tree 1 is 25 feet from driveway tree 2 is 16 feet from driveway tree 3 is 25 feet from driveway trees 4 & 5 are35 feet from house tree 6 is 30 feet from house tree 7 is 30 feet from house I believe I am in the watershed, so I am copying this letter to the Planning Board.
