Hi Jean,
Thanks for sending this over. I looked over the proposal and my main concern is access and setup for our ladder truck.
When we set up our ladder truck, the outriggers extend an additional 4 feet on each side. So the total width is 16ft. The
plan doesn't show any dimensions and most of the area seems acceptable. I question the longest carport behind 457
Andover St, specifically the end behind the old bank drive-thru. Can you request the actual measurements (widths)of
these access routes? I definitely would like to know the distance between the carport and the island. I also want 25ft
between the buildings and our ladder truck when it is deployed to ensure an acceptable angle for any ladder operation.
Again, I think there is probably a 25 ft distance already, but I would want to see the actual measurement on a submitted
plan.
also want a clearly labeled, rapid shutdown for the solar panels in case of an emergency. This is probably part of the
electrical code and I am sure Jonathan would be on top of this. Let me know if you have any questions.
