Hi Jean,
I was redirected to contact you directly after submitting a request to the main town "Report it" link...
Merrimack College is proposing a HUGE new set of buildings at the corner of 114 and Elm/Andover St. We live one block
over in Andover on Foxhill Road, and the proposed plan to add 2 large buildings to house roughly 540 new students will
add even more traffic and bottleneck to that intersection and surrounding neighborhoods. The school is already a
headache regarding their lack of action related to student-specific issues (vandalism, using our addresses for Ubers and
food deliveries, discarding trash, parking overnight, etc) and this new project will only exacerbate an already large
problem. Our neighborhood group will be attending future meetings related to this project, and we have a meeting
scheduled with Merrimack on Oct 12 @7pm* and I urge someone from the NA town offices to attend as well to hear all of
our concerns. For many of the same reasons the Royal Crest project was denied,we have similar concerns that we hope
you take into consideration when ruling on this project. Thanks in advance for your time.
