Hi Jean, yes, we should be able to set up a MS Teams meeting in this format.
As long as we don't have the general public involved and we are discussing things off line.
We have worked this format many times with the Engineering Department.
FYI,Attached is a PDF of the Elm Street changes between the College Entrance and the Intersection.
Please note the only change really is the revised curblines, as existing Elm Street is not wide enough to
allow vehicles to get around the left turn queuing lane. The proposed minor widening of the curbline toward
the college on Elm Street will allow the vehicles to pass around the left turn storage lane to get into their
appropriate thru travel lane at the intersection. This will help reduce the traffic backups on Elm Street which
frequently go past the College Entrance. A minor adjustment was also applied to the existing right turn lane
which will allow vehicles to enter this lane a little earlier. This will also assist with the on-going backups on
Elm Street, as the vehicles currently need to wait in the traffic line to eventually reach the right turn lane. All
of this will assist in reducing the existing queuing lengths on Elm Street.
As for our project schedule, we are planning to submit the 100% design submission in June. We still have
significant utility coordination requirements with all the required relocations involved. This has been our
most significant obstacle. Environmental permits such as MEPA submission and the NOI are planned for
April and May prior to the 100% submission. The ROW plans have been Accepted and the State ROW
process is active with the property owners and our ROW Agents. At this time we are making every effort to
not change the design any further that would alter the ROW plans and the ROW process. Our Ad date for
the project is still currently scheduled for January 2025. A January Ad date would line up with a Spring 2025
Notice to Proceed. Much of this will depend on securing the ROW prior to the Ad date.
