Architectural Peer Review
Peer Review provided two main areas of focus for improvements to the
building architecture:
■ Materiality: "Consideration should be given to a higher quality
cladding material (like actual masonry brick) across the length
of the primary / south fagade."
■ Stepbacks: "One of the closest residential abutters to the
proposed building is along Prescott Street. . . even a modest
step-back of the unit or units most proximate to the northern
neighbor will make a difference."

Landscaping Peer Review
Peer Review provided three main areas of focus for improvements to
the landscape design:
■ Site Entry: "Formalize the site entrance with enhanced tree
canopy and increase access for pedestrians with generous
sidewalks and raised crosswalks."
■ Connections to the Campus: "Design better connections
between the proposed development and the surrounding
properties in ways that enable walkability."
■ Preserve more Trees: "One of the closest residential abutters
to the proposed building is along Prescott Street. There is a
mature tree canopy between the properties. Some of these
trees may be preserved, depending on construction. The
landscape can diminish the visual impact."
