Hello Mr. Hakim,
Thanks for checking in, and of course I remember you!
Minutes are not yet available, and won't be public until they are approved, hopefully at the next meeting. We want to
make sure that when the minutes are published they are correct and represent the understanding of the whole board.
There is a recording of the meeting available on the NA CAM YouTube page, however. Hopefully this will tide you over
until the minutes are approved to be published.
I also appreciate your comment, and will make sure to pass it on to the full board.
Best,
--Mike

Good afternoon Mr. Lis,
This is Michael Hakim, PLA, PP, ASLA (retired), the father of Daniel Hakim who's 55 Prescott
Street home and property abuts the subject property. You have heard me speak several times
on this proposal at the public hearings. Unfortunately, circumstances required that neither Daniel
nor I could attend last evening's hearing. We would be appreciative if you could assist us in
obtaining the minutes of the meeting for review, including any decisions that may have been
made, and also plans for the next hearing. You can respond directly to this email address.
Our primary objection to what has transpired to date is the Board's taking of the plans as
proposed to be the starting point for any modifications or amendments. With all but one of the
other affordable housing developments within North Andover having densities of less than 10
dwelling units per acre, Zero Prescott's proposed density of almost 50 DU's/Ac astounds us. We
believe that the starting point for density should be closer to 10, and with no more than 3 stories.
There will be compromise of course, but it seems like their higher density and 5 proposed stories
became ground zero for negotiations.
Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
Sincerely,
Michael Hakim
