Good evening,
I live at 43 Mount Vernon Street off of Prescott Street. I am writing to express deep concern about the potential for a
significantly worse traffic with the addition of the proposed number of units. Cars currently race down Prescott Street,
creating a serious hazard for people who live in the area. The traffic situation became worse after the addition of the most
recently built apartments. I am concerned that adding significantly more vehicles to the area will lead to even worse
conditions. The sidewalks are in terrible disrepair on Prescott Street making pedestrian movement difficult. Some of the
sidewalk near the East Mill is not routinely cleared of snow. I am not opposed to adding more affordable housing in the
town, but I would like to see a the town create a plan that distributes housing across the town rather than by creating one
enormous complex in our neighborhood.And please fix the sidewalk.
