Regular Meeting & Hearing
The BOARD OF APPEALS held their regular meeting on Monday evening June 9, 1969
at 7:30 P.M. in the Town Office Building with the following members present and
voting: Arthur R. Dru~mond~ Chairman; Daniel T. O'Leary, Secretary; Donald J.
Scott and Associate Members James A. Glynn, Jr., Esq. and Robert J. Burke.
HEARI~13: Charles A. Labelle, Jr.
Mr. O'Leary read the legal notice in the appeal of Charles A. Labelle, Jr.
who requested a variation of Sec. 7.23 of the Zoning By-Law so as to permit a one-
room addition that will be nearer the lot line than the required distance on the
premises located at the north side of Magnolia Drive; 200 feet distant from the
corner of Elmcrest Street and known as 35 Magnolia Drive.
Mr. Labelle and his wife stated the room was necessary for their growing family
and that it would be ~ feet 8 inches from the lot line and that the immediate
abutter, Felix Signorelli, who was not present, had no objections. No one else
was present and there was no opposition.
Mr. Burke made a motion to take the petition under advisement; Mr. O'Leary
seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous.
The Board then voted on the petition. Mr. Burke made a motion to GRANT the
variance; Mr. O'Leary seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous. Usual reasons.
MERRIMACK MATERIALS, INC.
Mr. O'Leary read the letter sent by this board to Merrimack Materials re-
questing an answer by this date; since no answer was received no action could be
taken upon the renewal of the permit.
There will be no s,,m~er meetings unless there are applications.
The meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
