The meeting was called to order by the chairman at 8:80 P.M.
in the Town Building.
Members present: John F. Alter, Gregory Mooradkania~,
J~mes T. Poor, Henry E. Lund and associate member, JamesRegan.
This meeting was called by the chai~man in order to vote on
the application presented to the ~oard by Irving C. Howes, on
behalf of the North ~'ndover Housing Authority, requesting a
variance of the Zoning By-Laws, to allow the erection oN
multiple unit dwellings on land owned by the Village Land
Company, this land to be purchased by the North ~ndover
Housing Authority, and Located in the westerly half of the
block Rounded by Baldwin Street, Gilbert Street, Francis
Street and Patriot Street.
Mr. Kittredge was before the Board and requested the permission
to wltSd~aw the application presented to the Board of Appeals.
Motion was made and seconded and it was VOTED to grant Mr.
Kittredge leave to withdraw the application in question.
Motiom was made and seconded and it was VOTED to adjourn the
meeting.

The meeting wa~ called to order by the chairman at 8:10 P.M.
in the Town Building. This was a ~ublic Hearing.
Members present: John F. AYres, Gregory M~oradkanian,
Irving C. Howes, Henry E. Lurid and James T. Foot, associate
member James Regan.
The minutes of the last meeting were dispensed with.
An application was received from John F. Lane of Union Street,
requesting a variance of the Zoning By-Laws, to allow the sub-
division of a parcel of land into two individual lots in order
that one of the.lots with the house as it stands may be sold.
Mr. Lane was present on his own behalf as was also his attorney
Mr. Morris Close. The application was read and also the adver-
tised notice of the hearing. Attorney Close expained the reason
why Mr. Lane requested the variance. He explained that the lot
which Mr. Lane wished to ~ ell had only a 60 foot frontage and does
not fulfill the requirements of the By-Laws of the Town. There
was no opposition to this application and a motion was made and
seconded and it was Voted to take this matter under advisement.
After discussing the above application, a motion was made and
seconded and it was VOTED to grant the variance to Mr. Lane in
accordance with the plans presented to the Board.
