Discussion held relative to application of Gertrude Mozeen. M~tion was
made and seconded and it was VOTED that approval of ~his applicatio~ be
denied. I~e to the fact that +~he lot a~s first purchased by Miss Mo~een
was a subdivision of another parcel of property and was done without any
application to the Board of Appeals and that the ~dditional 20 feet of land
subsequently purchased made the rear yard of the adjoining property less
in area than what is reauired, and since this lot was registered only in
1950, 'and did not meet requirements for new lots cut up since zoning has
been effective the Board did not feel that this application could be granted.
Discussion held relative to application of Louis Masse. Motion was made and
seconded and it was VOTED to grant this variance in accordance with plans as
presented to %he Board.
Motion was made and 'seconded and it was VOTED toaijourn at 10:30 P.M.

Meeting was called to order by the Ohairman at 8~00 P.M. in the£own
Building. This was a Public Hearing. '~
M~mbers presant:~ John F. Alter, .Gregory ~ooradkanian, Irving C. Howes,
Henry ~.. Lurid, Richard G. Whipple and associatemember Santo DiMauro,
Application was received from Mr. Alfred Briguglio, 183 Andover Street,
Lawrence, requesting a varianace of theZoning By-Laws, so as to permit
the erection of a single family dwelling on a lot located at 183 Mass.
Avenue. This lot has a frontage of only 50 feet, but is an old lot
which was registered as such before Zoning became effective. There was
no objection to this application, Motion was made and seconded and it was
VOTED to take this matter under advisement.
Discussion held relative to above application. Motion was made and
seconded aud it was VOTED to grant the approval of this application for a
variancee
Letter received from.the Board of Selectmen advising that Richard G. ~nipple
had been appointed to the Board of Appeals to replace Mr.
James T. Poor, who resisned as of June 10, 1950.
Motion was made and seconded and it was VOTED to adjourn at 9:00 P.M.
