Lyons, Torn Clerk Town Building North Andover, Mass. Dear Sir: The following petition was heard at a meeting of the Beard of Appeals an Monday evening, January 11, 1965 at the Town Office Building. Members present and voting 'awes Daniel T. O'Leary, Chairman; William Morton, Secretary; teary B. Lund, John J. Shields and Arthur Drusmicad. WILLIAM A. & SHIRM M. DOUCETTE requested a Special Permit and a variation of Sege. ',, Para. 4.11 of the Zoning By-Slaw se as to permit a new ]eating system, now kitchen on second flavor, new bathroom on first floor and rear exit from second floor; as sketch submitted, on the promises located at the west side of Waverly Road, 200 feet distant fry the corner of Main Street and know as 19-21 Waverly Road. This public }searing was advertised in the Eagle Tribune on December 28 and January 4., 1965. All abutters were duly notified by certified mail of this hearing. Mrs. Shirley Doucette appeared in favor of the petition, which involves as existing older style, large 2-j story duplex styled dwelling, loeated in an area which has many smaller style units. The rear section of said dwelling is 1j stories in height. The petitioner indicated. now difficulty in renting such a large dwelling unit, which is on the north side of the structure, whereas there is a greater need for smaller units. The petition is for the remodeling and creating of a third dwelling unit without changing #21 Waverly Road, the southerly side of the duplex structure. The petitioner intends to remain in occupancy of this section. Also speaking in favor of the petition was Atty. John J. Willis. There were no objectors to the petition. The petitioner submitted a detailed plea of the proposed cemversioa, which upon eaamiza- tien, indicated no a -oomplianase with the provisions of the Zoning By-Uw, the Mate Sanitary Code, or Chapt. 143 of the General Laws pertaining to public safety. Upon motion of Arthur Drvmmmd,, seeended by William Morton, it was unamimovelY voted to GRAN the permit, with a copy of this decision. to be supplied to the Building Inspector and the Board of Health, the Tcwm agencies responsible for compliance of dwelling units as provided in Section 4.7 '07. 0 Zoning By-S��xs the �g Code, the Sanitary Gode and to public safety.
