Dear Sir;
The Board of Appeals held a Public Hearing on Friday evening, April 26, 1957
on the application of William A. Finneran requesting a variance of the Zoning
By—Laws so as to permit the erection of a Post Office and business building on
the premises located at 131 Main Street, North Andover.
This Public Hearing was advertised in the Evening Tribune on April 13, 1957, and
the abettors duly notified.
Members present and voting on this application were: Ralph E. Finck, Chairman;
Henry E. Lund, Nicholas F. Nieetta, Kenneth A. Terroux, Daniel O'Leary and Alfred
Boeglin, Associate Member.
After considering this latter, it was unanimously agreed by the Board to GRANT
the variance.
On the same date as above the Board held a Public Hearing on the application of
Edmund Cormier requesting under Section 6.62 of the Zoning BY-Law to recombine
two lots into an area of 10,000 square feet on the premises located at the corner
of Spruce Street and Massachusetts Avenue, North Andover.
The members present on this Hearing were the same as above.
This Hearing was advertised in the Evening Tribune on April 13, 1957 and all the
abuttors duly notified.
After considering this matter, a motion was made by Mr. Lund, seconded by Mr.
Boeglin, and unanimously carried by the Board that the variance be GRANTED.
Also on the same date, the Board held a Public Hearing on the application of Leon J.
Beauchesne requesting a variance of the Zoning By—Laws under Section 6.62 of the
Zoning By4Law so as to permit the subdivision of a parcel of land for the purpose
of erecting a single family dwelling on the premises located at lot #11, Pembrook
Road, North Andover.
This Public Hearing was also advertised in the Evening Tribune on April 13, 1957
and abbuttors duly notified.

Members present and voting on this application were:the same with the exception.
of Nicholas Nicetta who disqualified himself because he was anshbattor. Chairman
Finck designated Alfred Boeglin, Associate Member, to sit in his place.
After duly considering this matter, it was unanimously voted to GRANT the variance
on the condition that proper plans are submitted to the Board in accordance with
the rules and regulations, and keeps the proposed buildings apart in conformity
with the deed as recorded in the Essex North Registry of Deeds, Book 668, Page 75.
On the same date, the Board held a Public Hearing on the application of Cornelius
Keating requesting a variance of the Zoning By-Laws so as to permit the erection
of a one story ranch type dwelling on the premises located at the north side of
Herrick Road, 451.09 feet distant from the corner of Middlesex Street, North Andover,
This Public Hearing was advertised in the Evening Tribune on April 13, 1957, and
the abuttors duly notified.
The members present on this Hearing were the same as above with Mr. Nicetta
sitting in, as well as Mr. Boeglin.
Mr. O'Leary made a motion, seconded by Mr. Terroux and unanimously carried by the
Board that the variance be GRANTED.
On the same date, the Board held a Public Hearing on the application of Joseph Cyr
requesting under Section 6.31 of the Zoning By-,aw so as to allow lot areas and
front lot lines less than required by the Zoning By-Law, on the premises located
at the south side of Francis Street, North Andover, Mass.
This Public Hearing was advertised in the Eveligg Tribune on April 13, 1957, and
the abuttors duly notified.
The members present on this Hearing were the same as above.
Mr. Terroux made a motion that the variance be GRANTED on the condition that the
applicant could sub-divide numbers 1, 2 and 3 into two house lots and sub-divide
numbers 5, 6 and 7 into two more house lots and submits a set of corrected plans.
