Meeting was called to order by the Ch$irman at 8200 P.M. in the Towm Building.
This was the first meeting of the season and had. been postponed from Oct. 13
since this night was a holtday. There were no applications to be considered
at this meeting.
Members present= ~reg~ry Mooradkanian, Chairman, Rlcha~ G. ~mipple, Secretary,
Peter Ritchie, Jame~ J. Regain. and Sam DiMauro.~
Mrs. R~th N. N~haver was present at this. meeting to sxplat~_ to the Board that
her non-conforming use permit expired this month. She has a permit for the
maintenance of a Nursing Home located at 140 Prescott Streete Howevers. she is
being evicted from this location, and wishes te rent a house at 169 Andover St.,
m~d bring four' of her present patients with her into her new home. This is going
to be onl~ a temporary arrangement as she is hoping to get a larger place in the
near future and continue maintaining a marsing home f~ twelve paitients. She
stated that with on~v four patitnts, she was not required to meet the regulations
of the State regarding nursing homes. She stated that she felt that she would
like the approval of the Board before making any move.
The members of the Board discussed this matter with Mrs. Myhaver and felt that
she should make an application for a.new permit in this ~ew location and also
have a public hearing to as to be sure that she would be on the safe side.
The date for a public hearing was set for Tuesday evening, October 28, 1952.
This application was advertised in the Evening Tribune on the evening of
October 21~ 1952 and all abutters were notified.
