He said that he was in favor of this concern staying Ln this locality but that there were many other areas which were~ zoned for industry or business that could be used for this purpose. M~. Bohnwagner, .Mr.. philp Busby a~d~.~r. Edward Greenwood also objected to the granting of this application as they stated that it would m~ke the neighborhood a noisy and that most likely the trucks would use Hillside road as they are usinE it now to cross from one highway to the other and that this would, be a dangerous traffic hazard for the children who live in the nieghborhood. That it would drive prospective home builders away from this district and that they would like to keep it as residential as possible. Motion was then made and~ s~conded and it was voted to take this matter under advisement. The Board then went into executive session and after due consideration of both applications~ motion was made and seconded and it was voted that the Board would go in a body to view the premises on Sunday Nove~r 16, 1952 and meet again ih executive session on Noyember 17, 1952. Motion was made and seconded and it was voted Go adjourn at 11:25 P.M. November 17, 1952 Meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 8:10 P.M. in the Aown Building. This w~s an executive session. ~.e.~ers present: Chairman, Gregory Mooradkanian~ Secretary~ Richard G. Whipple~ Peter Ritchie~ Henry E. Lund~ A~drew E. Alvino~ and Associate Members James J. Regan and Sam RiMauro. A~ter further discussion of the applications of ~iltiam Dawson and the Estate of Cornelius Mahoney~ motion was made and seconded and the vote was as follows: Members Ritchie~ Lund and Alvino, voted to grant the variance on the grounds that a non-conforming use permit would supply a need for this type of business in that location. Members Mooradkanian and Whipple voted to der~ the petition on the grounds that it would be in effect an amendment of the Zoning By-Laws. Since it was not a m~fmous vote which is required from this Board~ the petitions of Wi~liam Dawson and Estate of C.J.Mshoney were deniede Motion was made a~d seconded and i~ voted to adj~lO~/~o _
