The Board of Appeals held a public hearing on Tuesday evening
November 12, 1991 at which time the letter requesting an
extension of Petition #130-90 deadline was discussed.
Upon motion by Mr. Vivenzio and second by Mrs. O'Connor the Board
voted unanimously to GRANT a six (6) month extension on Petition
#130-90 covering the period through May 19, 1991 in compliance
with Section 10 Chapter 40A, Massachusetts General Laws.

The Board of Appeals held a public hearing on November 13, 1990 upon the application
of Andrew & Bessie Voris requesting a variation from the requirements of Section 4
and Table 2, and a Special Permit from the requirements of Section 4, Paragraph 4.121(17)
of the Zoning Bylaw so as to permit construction of 750 sq. ft. family suite too close
to the lot line by 8' on the premises located at 1160 Salem Street. The following
members were present and voting: Frank Serio, Jr. , Chairman; Walter Soule, Clerk;
Raymond Vivenaio and Anna O'Connor.
The hearing was advertised in the North Andover Citizen on October 24, 1990 and
October 31, 1990 and all abutters were notified by regular mail.
Upon a motion made by Mr. Vivenzio and seconded by Ms. O'Connor, the Board voted,
umanimously, to GRANT the Special Permit as requested, subject to the following
conditions:
1. The premises be occupied by Mr. & Mrs. A. Voris.
2. The Special Permit shall expire at the time Mr. & Mrs. Voris cease to
occupy the family suite.
3. The Special Permit shall expire at the time the premises are conveyed to
any person, partnership or corporation.
4. The applicant, by acceptance of the Certificate of Occupancy issued
pursuant to the Special Permit, grants to the Building Inspector or
his lawful designee the right to inspect the premises annually.
The Board finds that the petitioner has satisfied the provisions of Section 10,
Paragraph 10.31 of the Zoning Bylaw and the granting of this Special Permit in
particular will not derogate from the intent and purpose of the Zoning Bylaw
nor will it adversely affect the neighborhood.

Each application and petition to the Board shall be accompanier) by

The size of the plan shall be It x 17, drawn to scale, l inch
equals 40 feet; it shall have a north point, names of streets,
zoning districts, names and addresses of owners of properties
within a minimum of 200 feet of the subject property, property
lines and location of buildings on surrounding properties. The
location of buildings or use of the property where a variance is
requested and distances from adjacent buildings and property lines
shall be verified in the fieLd and shown on the plan. The
dimensions of the Lot and the percentage of the lot covered by the
i principal and accessory buildings and the required parking spaces
shall be shown. Entrances, exits, driveways, etc. that are
pertinent to the granting of the variance shall be shown. All
proposed data shall be shown in red.

Any topographical feature of the parcel of land relied upon for a
variance, such as ledge, rock peat, or natural condition of water,
brook, or river, shall he shown on the engineering plan. when a
' variance is requested to subdivide a parcel of land, the dimen-

The Board of Appeals held a public hearing on October 9, 1990 upon the application
of Andrew & Bessie Voris requesting a Special Permit from the requirement of Section 4,
Paragraph 4.121(17) of the Zoning Bylaw so as to permit construction of a family
suite for parents on the premises located at 1160 Salem Street. The following members
were present and voting: Frank Serio, Jr. , Chairman, William Sullivan, Vice-chairman,
Walter Soule, Clerk, Anna O'Connor and Louis Rissin.
The hearing was advertised in the North Andover Citizen on September 26, 1990 and
October 3, 1990 and all abutters were notified by regular mail.
Upon a motion made by Mr. Soule and seconded by Mr. Rissin, the Board voted, unanimously,
to allow the petitioner to WITHDRAW WITHOUT PREJUDICE.
