Dear Sir: The following petition was heard at a meeting of the Planning Board on liednesday evening, April 25, 1962 at the Town Office Building. Members present and voting were: James M. Bannans Chairman; Robert J. Burke, Secretary; Howard L. Gilman, George Farley and William Chepulis, Jr. Alfred Boeglin petitioned to amend the North ,Andover Zoning By-law and the Zoning Map of the Town by changing from Village Residential Zone to General Business Zone, the provisions of Section 6.1,7. of the North Andover Zoning lAw notwithstanding, a parcel of land at the corner of Osgood Street and Wayne Street. The petitioner presented his case. There were three abutters present. The lot contains approximately 19,000 sq. feet, and there is a partially completed building on it. The Board voted as follows: Mr. Gilman made a motion to APPROVE the petition and Mr. Burke seconded the motion. Four members voted for the approval and Mr. Chepulis voted to deny the petition. The Board approved this petition because it believes that the re—zoning of this area is for the general good of the town of North Andover. Dear Sir: The following petition was heard at a meeting of the Planning Board on Monday evening, March 5, 1962 at the Town Office Building. The decision was made on March 8, 1962. Members present and voting were: Jabs M. Bannan, Chairman; Robert J. Burke, Secretary; Howard L. Gilman, George Farley and William Chepulis, Jr. Alfred Boeglin petitioned to amend the North Andover Zoning Bylaw and the Zoning Map of the Town by changing from Village Residential Zone to Industrial Zone, the provisions of Section 6.51 of the North Andover Zoning Law notwithstanding, a parcel of land at the corner of Osgood Street and Wayne Street, Atty. John J. Willis represented the petitioner. There were approximately 15 people present at the hearing. Four abutters were recorded as opposed, The lot is approximately 19,000 sq. feet, and there is a partially completed building on it. At the Planning Board meeting on March 8, 1962, the board voted on the petition. Mr. Chepulis made a motion to DW the petition and Mr. Farley seconded the motion. Four members voted to deny and Mr. Gilman voted not to deny the petition. The reason for denial is that the parcel of land does not comply with the Borth Andover Zoning Bylaw land area requirements.
