Dear Sir: A public hearing was held by the Board of Appeals on December 13, 1971 upon application of GAETANO BONGIORNO et als who requested a variation of Sec. 6.31 of the Zoning By- Law so as to permit the combination of Pour, 50 x 100 foot lots into two lots of 100 x 100 feet for the purpose of erecting single family dwellings on the premises located at the south side of Mablin Avenue, between Inglewood Street and Harwood Street. The following members were present and voting: J. Philip Arsenault, Esq, Chairman; Kenneth E. Pickard, Vice Chairman; Dr. Eugene A. Beliveau, Clerk; Arthur R. Drummond and Associate Member James A. Glynn, Jr. who sat in place of regular member Frank Serio, Jr. The hearing was advertised in the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune on November 27 and December k, 1971 and all abutters were duly notified by regular mail. Atty. Samuel J. Concemi represented the petitioner and explained that because of the petitioner's health, it is physically impossible to make use of the land and the property is deteriorating. There is presently a foundation and an old shed on the property, which would be cleared away. He would like to combine four, 50X100 lots into two, 1OOxlOO lots. The land would be sold and two single family homes would be built. Sewerage facilities are available. There was no opposition. However,since proper plans were not submitted, the Board voted unanimously to table the petition until the January meeting when proper plans are submitted. At the January 10, 1972 meeting, proper plans were submitted and after review by the Board it was found that all of the requirements under Section 6.62 of the Zoning By- Law had been met by the petitioner.
