Bailding. This was a Public Hesring to consider the application of the
Tide Water Associated 'Oil Company, c/o Lyne, ~Yoodworth & Evarts, 75 Federal
Street, Boston 10, Mass. for a request for a v~riance from the requirements
of Article VII of the Zoning By-Laws.
Members present: Richard G. V~ipple, Chairman, Andrew E, Alvino~ Secretary,
Nicholas F. Nice~ta and the Chairman appointed Donald F. Smith and Benedict
Peiu-one alternates to serve on the Board~ for the meeting.
After listening to the proponents and opponents it was voted by motion of
~. Smith, seconded by Mr. Pei~one, unanimously, to take the matter under
advisement o
The Board also held a Public Here en the application of Rose Clements of
40 Chadwick Street, Methuen, Mass. for a permit to operate a Rest H~ae on the
premises of 812 Osgood Street, Nv~bh Andow~r. The applicant, Mrs. Clements,
presented her request for the permit and there were no objectors present. C~
motion of Mr. Alvino, seconded by Mr. Smith, it was unanimously voted to take
the matter under advisement.
C~ motion made by Mr. Nicetta, seconded by Mr. Perrone, it was unanimously
voted to employ Anna Donahue as Clerk of'the Board.

The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 7:30 P.M. in the Tv~n
Building. This was a .Public Hearin$.
Members present: Richard G. V~aipple, Chs~rman, Andrew E. Alvino, Secretsry,
Nicholas F. D~cetta. Benedict Perrone and Donald F. Smith were designated by
the Chairman to sit ss members in the absence of Peter Ritchie and Henry E,
Lund.
Au application was received from Louise M. Campbell, 96 Chestnut St., requesting
the approval of the construction of a two car garage. This was advertised in
the Evening Tribune on July 16, 1954. Mr. John Campbell expls~ned that the
reason for the location of the garage was because water comes bebw~en the house
and the garage and by pushing it back 5 feet he can use the p~esent driveway
and will save great e~pense. Mr. Ralph Brasseur explained that the garage sets
back the required 30 feet and thinks it is a logical location.
Motion was made by Mr. Perrone, seconded by Mr. Smith and it was unanimously
voted to take this matter under smhrisement. There were no objectors to this
application.
